Welcome to the "We Heart Art" carnival, co-hosted by Sara of Domestically
Challenged, the Three Bay B Chicks (Thuy, Kacey, and Francesca), and Helene of I'm Living Proof that God has a Sense of Humor. I'll be putting up a few of my own art projects for everyone to see, not just my daughter's projects. Here, we have a sampling of my cakes. Please don't rat me out to Cake Wrecks. None of these were technically "sold", therefore I cannot count myself as a professional cake designer, so Cake Wrecks can't use me as an example of what not to do. Just for the record, I visit Cake Wrecks regularly, just to see the cake disasters.
First up (because that's how Blogger loaded them) is my Resurrection Cake. A little Polly Pocket figurine stands as the angel waiting to spread the News.
The Noah's Ark Cake. I made this one for a silent auction to raise money for a school.

The Lighthouse. I made this one for my Aunt's birthday several years ago. Yes, those are real seashells.

The Froggie. Ribbit.
This one represents Old MacDonald's Farm. I made this cake for Princess E's 3rd birthday. The walkways and inside fences are edible candies.
I made this one for Princess B's 5th birthday. Notice the 5 swans floating.
