Rest in Peace, Lady Margaret

Last week, we said goodbye to Margaret. At her request, there was no funeral, so I’ve wanted to remember her here.

Margaret Waters born in London, England in 1915, married Frank, a US soldier, and immigrated to the United States with him. Their family grew to include Brian, who passed away several years ago, Sandy, and Malcolm.

Margaret had quite a sense of humor, and was often ready with a joke. She obviously passed that trait on to her children.

Her final gift was to donate her earthly shell for scientific study. Perhaps something will be learned from her that will contribute toward finding a treatment, or cure, for the Alzheimer’s disease that slowly stole her memory over the last decade or so.
Today, she is whole. Restored. She is home with Jesus.

So, what's with the names?

Whenever I visit another blog, I tend to wonder about names and such. I figured I'd answer the question before anyone asks, not that I have any readers...but, in time, somebody might read my blog and wonder.

I tend to be overly cautious at times. Plastering my real name out there for all the world to see concerns me a bit. So, nicknames are in order. Well, it happens that our real names are also the names of a previous English King and Queen. So, king and queen we are.

We have two daughters. Princess B and Princess E. The royal family is rounded out by His Royal Highness, Alexander the Cat.

I'll share more on our lives later.

Hi and Welcome!

Here we go...

I decided to start blogging. Today, I'm just setting this up and testing to see what it looks like.

See ya!
