I heard about this theme today and thought it would be fun to participate. Head on over to MannLand5 to see everyone else's answers to these questions.
1. Would you rather bungee jump or sky dive?
I see no good reason to do either. It's terra firma for me, thank you very much.
2. When using a public restroom to you squat over the seat or sit?
It depends upon the restroom. If it is visibly dirty, I'm going to leave and find somewhere else to go. If they've got the little paper covers, I prefer to use them. They aren't the greatest barrier, but better than nothing. Frankly, I'm much more concerned about the "cooties" on the bathroom door handle than I am the seat itself.
3. Favorite flower?
The daffodil. Specifically King Alfred.
4. Pedicure or manicure?
I do both myself. I am more likely to pamper my toes than my hands. However, if I were to go out an have something done, it would be a manicure. I cannot stand to have anyone mess with my feet.
5. How many siblings do you have?
None, I'm an only child.
6. Do you pee in the shower? (gasp!)
Call me a prude, but that's not the kind of thing I'd discuss on my blog. LOL!
7. Bikini, tankini, or one piece?
I wear a full-coverage, very modest two piece. I have an especially long torso, so fitting a one-piece is a challenge. My suit looks like a tank top and a pair of shorts.
8. Where do you hate to shop at, but go there anyway?
I don't shop anywhere I hate to go.

Some days are diamonds
I'm so excited today! We've been going through a trying time with homeschooling lately. Even though it has been tough, I am even more convinced that homeschooling is the right choice for us right now. Had Princess E encountered these difficulties in a regular classroom, she might have gotten behind and not been able to get the help she needed.
Fourth grade is a transitional year. There is less memorization of facts and more reasoning. Math concepts are a little more advanced.
We've been working on writing persuasive and expository paragraphs. We've been working on using descriptive words and phrases, rather than simple (bland) sentences.
I'm amazed to see the stretching and growing in Princess E's mind. She's frustrated, but when the concepts finally "click", it is wonderful. Today, she showed us that she gets it. Yay! Time to celebrate (and keep practicing).

Post It Note Tuesday
Sara over at Domestically Challenged has been participating in this for a while and I always get a kick out of her Post It Notes. So, I decided to give it a try. Go visit her page and SupahMommy, too, to see what's sticking.
