Visiting Friends

During our trip to Williamsburg, we were blessed to be able to stay with our friends, Mike and Susan.  They opened their home to us and let us settle in.  We don't get to see them very much these days, since they live so far away; but they are very dear friends of ours and we cherish the time we have with them.

While we were there, we made mobcaps as a homeschool project.  The mobcaps were worn by women to keep smoke and dirt out of their hair, since hair was washed only three or four times a year.  Making the mobcap required the use of Geometry to determine diameter and radius for them. 

We loved spending the evenings with our friends!
