Hurricane season. We're just about ready. Tonight, we'll top off the fuel tanks in the vehicles and generator, then we're done. Our home is not in the direct path of the storm, as we don't live on the coast. I doubt Earl will have much of an effect on us at all, other than some rain. But, a little shift and we could get slammed. After Isabel and Gaston, I'd rather overprepare and not have to think about it.
King J and I have a lot of family in the coastal areas of North Carolina and Princess B lives in the coastal area of New England. We covet your prayers for safety for them and for all of those in the way of the storm.

- I am wife to King J, mom to Princess E and step-mom to Princess B. Our kingdom includes an army of fish who strive to keep our moat free from predators. I am currently on hiatus from my career in Finance and Accounting to pursue a higher calling of homeschooling our daughter. It is the toughest, and most rewarding, job I've ever had. Our family travels frequently. It is both required and something we enjoy. Along the way, I've learned a lot about traveling well and minimizing costs. Here is where I get to share it with you. I welcome your input as well. Our family goal: We plan to visit all 50 states at least once during the first 15 years of our marriage.
