Hickory Aviation Museum

Earlier this summer, we visited the Hickory Aviation Museum, where we had the opportunity to walk around and explore military aircraft. 

This one is on loan from Great Britain.  It's made largely of wood. 

This one found new life as a Fedex plane.

Does anyone else see this and think of Top Gun?

It seems the back of this one is missing.
