The Queen's Not-So-Famous-But-Really-Really-Good Biscuits
Ingredients:
1 c. self-rising flour
¼ tsp baking soda
¾ c sour cream (regular, light, or non-fat)
2 tsp vegetable oil
Non-stick cooking spray
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix the flour and baking soda. Add the sour cream and oil, stirring until moistened. Turn onto floured surface. Knead 4-6 times. Roll out to ¾” thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter (or an inverted glass). Place on a baking sheet. Spray tops with non-stick cooking spray.
Bake at 425F for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown.
Enjoy them hot! These things are melt-in-your-mouth delicious and oh-so moist!
