Marshmallows

Some years back, a few girlfriends and I had a contest of sorts. The idea was to come up with possible uses for marshmallows. The only thing off-limits was the obvious uses, such as s'mores. My list included 22 uses. I am reposting this list here just because I still think it is funny after all these years.

1. Belly Button Decoration
2. Earrings (through fishing hooks)
3. Adhesive (when warmed, can be used to stick things together)
4. Padding (for those sore bottoms from riding on a bumpy bus)
5. Padding (for those who are less well-endowed - move over WonderBra)
6. Toe Spacers (so you don't smear your nail polish)
7. Earplugs (to reduce noise)
8. Noseplugs (to stop runny noses - works best on kids)
9. Patio Torches (outdoor lighting, bonus - attracts bugs)
10. Friendly Missles (for food fights)
11. Stamp/Envelope Lickers (just moisten under the tap and swipe)
12. Travel Pillow (stuff em in a zip-loc bag and wrap that in a towel)
13. Cat Toys (nuff said)
14. Doggy Treats (for even more fun, add peanut butter)
15. Antedote for Road Rage (throw the marshmallow at the offending driver)
16. Necklaces (paint different colors and string them)
17. Bracelets (just like the necklaces)
18. Christmas Tree garland (just imagine all the things you can do with
string!)
19. Makeup Remover Puffs (to replace cottonballs and foam wedges)
20. Eyeshadow Applicator
21. Replacement Pen Cap (prevents dripping or drying ink)
22. Exercise Machine (that's right! Just throw it on the floor, blow on
it, and chase it around. Voile! Exercise for you...and you won't be
tempted to eat it afterward.)
